Poornachandra Tejaswi, one of the best known Kannada writer and novelists,
passed away on the 5th of April. I have read some of his books (Jugaari Cross, Karvalo, Abachoorina Post Office, Chidambara Rahasya come to my mind immediately) and thoroughly appreciated them. I liked the suspense that used to be a part of his novels. He came out of his illustrious father Kuvempu's shadow and created a unique impact on the Kannada literature. It is unfortunate that we won't get to see any more of his writing. May his soul rest in peace.
